Last Hope Refugee Association (LHRA) is a transgender women refugees-led non-profit organization that promotes and protects the human rights of Transgender refugees and asylum seekers and access to justice. It was established on May 20, 2020 in Uganda in a social context marked by violence, criminalization of homosexuality, discrimination and disregard for the human rights of LGBTQIA people in Uganda.
